One of our partner agencies, Casa Guadelupe, offers a similar class. We are
located in Allentown, PA, and base some ESL classes at the Casa Guadelupe
site. If you are interested, I am willing to contact their Executive
Director to see if she'd be willing to share her experiences with the allied
health career program.

Subject: [Workplace 1579] ABE to College Transition
Curriculum,Contextualized for Health Careers

I am working with a consultant, Liz O'Connor of Strategy Matters, who in
turn is working with an adult education program in Boston which is creating
a college transitions class that will have a contextualized curriculum
focused on allied health careers.

We were wondering if any of you have, or know of, a curriculum for adult
learners (pre-college) which is contextualized to prepare them for success
in allied health certificate programs (generally).

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
