Thank you. I would be interested in receiving some of the presentations.
In particular, I am very interested in the "English Under the Arches."

List members,

Barbara says, "For those of us who can not be at COABE, am I correct in
understanding that, like last year, handouts and power point
presentations will be made available electronically?"

I hadn't made that offer yet Barbara, but I will, as of now. What I
will do is contact the presenters of workplace sessions that list
members request and ask those presenters if there is a handout that can
be made available electronically that I can send to the list. I think
that's what we did last year. You can tell me at the end of COABE which
sessions you want me to request.

The English under the Arches is intriguing. I just spoke with Heide
Wrigley about it when she was with us in Texas earlier this week. Since
I was involved in setting up the initial Mc D's pilot in Manhattan,

New Jersey, Chicago, and Franklin, TN, I am anxious to learn more. For
those of us who can not be at COABE, am I correct in understanding that,
like last year, handouts and power point presentations will be made
available electronically?

Ingrid has given a pretty ringing endorsement of the "English Under the
Arches" half-day pre conference and I understand from one of the
presenters that there are still openings, in case you will be in St.
Louis early enough on Monday, April 28, to take advantage of it. The
session starts at 12:30. You can still register by going to
http://www.coabeconference.org/form.html and paying by credit card.
