Hi list members,

Maybe Friday isn't a very good day to post challenges to the list, since
I haven't had any responses yet to the post I sent then!

I still want to know what you recommend as the seminal resources in our
field of workplace literacy. I'm thinking the SCANS skills, when they
first came out and still today, are something we would have to include
as an influential addition to the field. What others should be on the
list?

Donna

Subject: [Workplace 1245] (Thursday?) Resources? Your turn!

Greetings, Workplace List Members,

I didn't send Thursday resources yesterday, and in place of me giving
resources to you, I'd like to know what you feel are the most important
resources informing our field of workplace literacy. What are the
seminal resources, the timeless works that have had the most impact on
our thinking and our practice? You may think that some of the resources
I have sent out in the last year and a half since I started compiling
the lists of Thursday Resources are that important. Or maybe not. I
would guess that there are sources that are not online that have had
that kind of an impact as well as those that are available online. I
would like to be able to compile these resources into a list with
bibliographic information for our use, so if you have all the
information that will let us locate these resources, include that
information with your nominations. If you don't have all the
information, give us what you have, and I'll try to track it down.

Thanks!
