Dear Adult Literacy Colleagues, We invite your thoughts about a new doctoral program in the works at VCU. If you have 10 minutes to take the survey, we would be very grateful. -Bill Muth Ph. D. in Literacy Studies Survey The Department of Teaching and Learning in the School of Education at Virginia Commonwealth University is in the process of developing a new Ph.D. in Literacy Studies degree. The fifty-credit, interdisciplinary program is designed for students to study emerging literacies under the guidance of a faculty mentor. To date, we have received supportive program reviews from a number of expert faculty. At this time, we would like to gain your opinion of the program as someone who is working in the field of literacy. The survey includes a two-page overview and five questions and should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Your willingness to take the survey is greatly appreciated.
