RWJF to Introduce New Process for Accepting Ideas from the Field in 2007

Starting in January 2007, RWJF will introduce a new process for
accepting ideas from the field. During the course of 2007, RWJF will
issue calls for proposals

3NzQS1&mt=1>  from the field. This new approach is designed to:

1.	help applicants better understand what we're interested in
funding; 
2.	provide a schedule of application deadlines and award dates for
each call for proposal; and 
3.	improve the fairness and expedite the review of proposals. 

Please be sure to send us by December 31, 2006 any unsolicited brief
proposals you intend to submit in the following areas:

	Addiction Prevention & Treatment
*	
	Childhood Obesity
*	
	Disparities
*	
	Health Insurance Coverage
*	
	Nursing
*	
	Public Health
*	
	Quality
*	
	Tobacco

RWJF will continue to accept unsolicited proposals after December 31,
2006, for the remaining three Interest Areas: Building Human Capital,
Pioneer and Vulnerable Populations.
