Hello all,
So much of the aftermath has reminded me of this quote, which I found in a now-unremembered article some years ago,
"Poverty means you can't plan ahead." (Dina Wilcox, retired attorney/mediator)

This echoes, I believe, what many of us are posting -- monumental losses all, but the 'haves' have an easier time planning any kind of future.
