If you do this, everytime someone sends a message to the list we will get one of your "out of the office" messages. You can well imagine the problem if many people do this all at the same time, and you yourself will have quite a mess on your hands when you return. It is better to UNSUBSCRIBE while you are gone and SUBSCRIBE again when you return. THEN you can set up your "out of the office " message without affecting the list. To unsubscribe, go to www.nifl.gov/lincs and click on "discussions". Many thanks. Also, the following is posted by moderator at request of NIFL: Dear NIFL List subscribers, It has come to our attention that some NIFL list subscribers' email servers have software that scans the content of all incoming emails. In some cases, an email is tagged as sensitive content and bounced the message back to the sender, as well as the list address, stating that the email was blocked. The NIFL list server catches the messages as a nonsubscriber, so it does not go out to the entire list. These messages do not come from the NIFL list server. If you receive a system adminstrator email message, after you send a message to the list, please forward the entire message to our Web Specialist, Connie Harich: mailto:charich@nifl.gov.
